Rutger Hauer
Golden Globe-winning actor Rutger Hauer is a seasoned veteran with plenty of hit movies under his belt. Appearing in such blockbusters as Blade Runner, Sin City, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Batman Begins, he has managed to establish himself as a major player in the Hollywood scene. Born in the Netherlands, he began his acting career on Dutch television in 1969. His first big break came in 1975, when he was cast in the film The Wilby Conspiracy opposite the likes of Michael Caine and Sidney Poitier. He has since gone on to appear in over 40 movies, garnering accolades worldwide. In the Magic Flute Diaries, Hauer plays Dr. Richard Nagel, a famed musicologist in Salzburg. Working with the play’s mysterious beauty, it is Dr. Nagel’s job to turn her into the most alluring Pamina Salzburg has ever seen.
