Recently, we posted the work of one of our fans, 12-year-old Abigail J. Shanks, who continued the story of Road to Avonlea after World War One.  Now, she’s gone back to the year 1905 and created an entirely original storyline involving the King family.  Here are her first two chapters!

A recent article in the Huffington Post reminded me of the satisfaction someone can receive by reading a series of books in one fell swoop.  Columnist Dave Astor used the recent release of the final Harry Potter film to prove his point.  He writes:
