Thomson, the veteran Canadian actor who is recognized by fans across the world as Road to Avonlea’s Jasper Dale, is in the midst of planning an entirely unprecedented international event for the 100th anniversary of World War One. Not too long ago we brought you the news that R.H. Thomson, who played Jasper Dale in Road to Avonlea, was honoured with the Order of Canada for his contributions to the Canadian arts industry.
