Sarah's Splice Named Top Canadian Film
Writer, director and producer Sarah Polley has once again helped advance the recognition of Canadian film. The movie Splice, in which the Road to Avonlea actress starred with Oscar-winner Adrien Brody, was named 2010’s highest-grossing Canadian film.

The top “Sweet Sixteen” heroines in our Ultimate Classical Heroine Contest have now become a group of “Enchanting Eight”. The voting officially ended at midnight on Sunday and we are left with the following results:

Right now, our top three women are as follows: Anne Shirley, Marilla Cuthbert and Jo March.
