But, we decided to give the crown of “Sullivan Idol” to Crystal Newman, from Australia, who wrote an original song about her mother and performed it on guitar for us.  We thought Crystal’s great voice, her songwriting abilities and the fact that she played her own instrument should be awarded!

Next, the winner for the age group 18 and under is 15-year-old Anna Collis.  Her performance of “Oh Danny Boy”, which was dedicated to her grandmother, was very sweet.  We were also impressed with the fact that she accompanied herself on the piano.
