Have you ever wondered what happens after an actor’s big role in a high performance film? Mireille Asselin, who played one of the leading roles in Mozar'ts Magic Flute Diaries, has taken on a few major roles since that production.

Mireille is a Canadian, who spent most of her childhood years in Toronto, although she is recently based in the United States. She is currently a second year candidate for a Master of Music degree at the prestigious Yale school of music and is studying with Doris Yarick-Cross.

In addition to her many commitments at Yale, Mireille will be making appearances with Opera Hamilton, the Orchestra of the Southern Finder Lakes this year. But for her 2011 season, she is to return to Canada to perform Servilia in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito with Opera Atelier.

Prior to her performance in Magic Flute Diaries she finished her B.M degree from The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. So since then, her music/acting career has taken considerably successful turns. As a result, she is one of Toronto’s most successful music students.
