There are many different kinds of flutes in the world, and many different ways in making them too. But for fun we are going to try to create a flute called Zhu Di. It is one of the most popular flutes in Asia and it’s usually made from Bamboo.

We are going to create one very similar with just a little twist to it. The first step is to cut out a cardboard roll to a flute size. You will want to make your flute colourful, so do a few designs on the cardboard.

Once you are done creating your design, you will want to make a mouthpiece and six finger holes too. They need to be very small, nothing to big. Roll your cardboard into a thin coil and flatten it with your fingers. Remember you want it to look round and thin just like a flute. Secure your flute with glue and let it air dry. The next big step is to make a pretty looking tie around your flute. So you will need to choose a tassel from your yarn and tie is tightly around your flute. Once that is done, you have completed your art form flute. Try is out and make sure it works.
